ABOUT ME
One thing that always stood out in my life: things I do out of passion, I do 100% with heart and soul, without compromise.
Out of my great passion for alternative music I decided to drop out of school and instead of just studying „something“, I pursued my ambition to work in the live music industry. That was 15 years ago. Since then I worked in various positions in the industry, the last couple of years as a project and tour manager for various artists and productions.
10 Years later – it’s March 2020 – suddenly the pandemic hit the world and the entire industry I was working in came to a complete halt. After nearly two years into the pandemic, the live music industry was slowly getting back to somehow taking place, but a lot of things weren’t the same as before the pandemic – myself included.
During this time I asked myself a lot what I want to do with my life and what I want to get out of it. I came to the conclusion I crave for a bit more balance in my personal life and for my work life I had the urge to create something – A product, a piece of material, that I can actually hold in my hands and say „Hey, I built this!“.
This realization was followed by weeks of research on the Internet and in books, making plans and buying basic woodworking tools. After about two months of digging deep into the rabbit hole of guitar building, it was finished – my first electric guitar. From that moment on I was hooked, so I built another guitar, and another, and another…
After Covid became a little more predictable and the first live shows started happening again, I quickly realized that I didn’t have the same passion and energy that I had before the pandemic doing this full time – but I also realized that I hadn’t felt as alive and motivated as I did standing in my workshop, building stuff, in a long time.
Long story short – I went all in and quit my permanent employment to be self employed, changed my life from big city life in berlin to a small town in the countryside, surrounded by beautiful nature. Back to the roots as I’m a boy from the country.
On some days, when I enter my workshop in the morning, after switching on the lights and making my first coffee I sometimes just standing behind my workbench, sipping my coofee and thinking: „I really did this. YES!
WHAT MAKES THE DIFFERNECE
WOODS
Instead of hiding the instruments wood under thick laquer, I highlight the natural grain and aesthetic of wood.
NATURAL FINISHES
My guitars are treated with oil based finishes, which gives the wood enough protection and adds a nice feel to the touch while the wood maintains the natural character.
UNIQUE DESIGNS
The guitar designs I offer are inspired by classic designs but still transporting a modern and updated look and feel.
HIGH QUALITY MATERIALS
Only high quality materials are used e.g. for woods, guitar hardware, pickups etc.
BUILT WITH LOVE
Every Instrument is build by hand in my small workshop in Germany.
